Andaman and Nicobar islands are on the other hand portray not only the tribal culture of the indigenous tribes still living in the islands, most of the islands are uninhabited and need permits to visit the same.
Puducherry, besides holding fame for being the southernmost point of India, boasts of some very good beaches. With a distinct French influence still thriving in the local culture, Puducherry beach is the most frequented tourist spots, when in Kerela. Daman and Diu on the other hand is located between Arabian Sea and the state of Gujarat. With a touch of Portuguese to the culture, Daman and Diu is best known for its colorful Gujarati culture, the migratory birds which flock the region and the beautiful Nagoa beach. Fishing and tourism are two major occupations here.
